A galley kitchen with a poor layout and outdated aesthetics was a combination that was wearing down on these homeowners. The placement of major appliances in a main walkway can affect productivity in a close space such as this. The removal of an unused door and its replacement with an arched window that frames the view of the terrace was the perfect touch. The heightened hood gives the illusion that the space is taller and the combination of the stained cabinets and trim mixed with painted cabinetry gives the impression that the space is wider. Using light cabinets for the perimeter make it light. The stained stove and oven fixture presents itself as a less permanent feature… again, making the space feel larger.
The half bath was declared to have a large amount of wasted space in a-not-so-large room. Its decor was outdated and no longer desirable. The importance of a well-designed washroom is never an understatement. Check out what we did with this small space to make a big impact!
The master bathroom was in desperate need of a face-lift as well as a more efficient space to get washed up and ready for the day. Our design has done just that for these homeowners and they have been raving about it since its completion.
This project was so enjoyable and we are thrilled to show you the grand finale of this fantastic transformation!
